Braxton Miller, arguably the best QB recruit in the 2011 class, announced this week that he’s headed to Ohio State. The 6’2, 185 lb signal caller from Huber Heights, Ohio, was heavily sought after by Florida, Georgia, Notre Dame, and a plethora of other elite Division 1 programs.
Some recruiting experts are calling Miller the best QB recruit the Buckeyes have had in the past 10 years. While current Ohio State trigger man Terrelle Pryor was the most hyped QB OSU’s seen in quite some time, Miller is said to be a more refined and polished passer than Pryor was coming out of high school.
This early pickup for the Buckeyes is huge. Miller should fit in nicely with Ohio State’s spread offense where he’ll be a viable threat both passing and running the ball.
