Natalie Randolph named high school head coach

In news that would have Susan B. Anthony turning back flips, Washington D.C.’s Coolidge High School is set to name Natalie Randolph as their head football coach this Friday. Randolph is no stranger to football as she played wide receiver on the D.C. Diva’s football team and served as an assistant coach for H.D. Woodson High School in 2006 and 2007.

Randolph’s attorney, Lawrence Wilson, had this to say about her hiring: “I think everybody is pretty excited about it, not just because she’s making history, frankly, but I think they’re just excited about having Natalie Randolph”  It will be very interesting to see how Randolph does in her first year of head coaching. While there will be people that will criticize her hiring, Randolph does have experience and a love for the game. We wish her the best of luck.
