A glimpse of Augusta's starting line-up
From time to time we post beyond the realm of college football. This time we turn to the deep South where some idiot named Don “Moose” Lewis is going to start up a whites-only basketball league (All-American Basketball Alliance (AABA)).
That’s right folks, racism is still alive and well in the deep South. Moose plans on selecting the 12 racist cities he can find to host his teams. He is currently accepting applications for one of his franchises. A leading city right now is Augusta, Georgia with Atlanta being the home base.
Of course Mr. Moose says there is nothing hateful about the idea and that he doesn’t “hate anyone of color.” Rather, he believes that whites are the minority and they need a league where they can showcase their fundamental basketball skills instead of “street ball” skills.
To join the KKK AABA league, you must be a natural born US citizen with both parents of Caucasian race. Basketball skills are highly recommended, but not required.
The inaugural tip-off is scheduled for June 2010. Rumor has it that Alan Keyes will be the guest ref and free white jackets will be handed out to the first 5,000 attendees (sponsored by Augusta National Country Club).
