Virginia Tech’s Zach Luckett was charged earlier this month with driving on a suspended license. He was stopped by Virginia Tech Police Officer Deriek Crouse on Aug. 6 and a report was filed Aug. 14. The suspension stems from Luckett’s 2008 DUI.
Frank Beamer suspended Luckett because of the 2008 DUI and had his scholarship stripped. Eventually, the school allowed him to walk-on the team. However, with his most recent run-in with the law, his Hokie days are truly in question.
Luckett has compiled 2 DUIs during his tenure in Blacksburg. Let’s hope he can stay out of trouble and find his way back on the field.
