Northern Iowa’s Terrell Sinkfield may be the fastest man in the upcoming NFL draft.  During Monday’s pro day at the University of Minnesota, Sinkfield flaunted his blazing speed by blowing by the competition being manually clocked at 4.19 in the 40-yard-dash (to put in perspective, Chris Johnson’s NFL combine record was 4.24 in 2008).  Scouts were so impressed with Sinkfield’s time that they had him run it again.  He was clocked at 4.41. For his three 40-yard-dash attempts, Sinkfield was clocked at 4.27, 4.19, and 4.41.

Sinkfield finished the 2012 season with 43 catches for 499 yards and four touchdowns.  Those numbers didn’t exactly catch the eyes of too many scouts, but his blistering 40-yard-dash time is certainly causing his pro stock to rise.
