Maryland's Ronnie Tyler leaps into the end zone with Pride
When Maryland took the field Monday night for fashion night out in its unique and colorful “Pride” helmet and jersey uniforms, there was an instant social media surge commenting on the likes and dislikes of the Terrapins’ gear. Now it appears you can own a piece of history as Maryland recently announced its plan to auction 10 helmets and 10 jerseys from its Maryland state-flag inspired uniforms.
Interested bidders will have to act fast with the bidding process commencing Friday morning and ending Monday, September 19, 2011. The helmets will start at $500 each while jerseys will open at $200 a piece.
