The Ducks are keeping their beaks shut about the severity of QB Jeremiah Masoli’s knee injury sustained during Oregon’s 52-6 victory over ailing Washington State. Masoli took a tough sack in the first half of the game and a few plays later he left for good. During the second half, he was on the sidelines wearing his Duck warm-up suit. As of yesterday, Masoli finally joined the practice squad, but is playing on a limited basis. There are conflicting...

Moore Suffers Concussion

The 2009 NCAA interception leader suffered a concussion today against Stanford. Rahim Moore, UCLA’s free safety, injured himself while making a tackle in the second quarter of UCLA’s matchup with Stanford. To make matters worse, the hit resulted in a personal foul being called on Moore for hitting Stanford TE Coby Fleener. No timetable has been set for Moore’s return but the Bruins are hoping to have him back sooner than later. He already has a NCAA high 5 interceptions...

Prince will have his jaw wired shut and he should be out 3-4 weeks. Prince is having a promising start leading the Bruins to a 2-0 record with victories over San Diego State and Tennessee....

He was quoted as saying, “I just need to get a better SAT score.” He will continue to be involved with the team as much as possible and will officially enroll in 2010. Bruins Land Another 4-Star Commit in Jefferson

USC’s Pete Carroll is accustomed to shaking down most of LA for recruits with little to no challenge from cross-town rival UCLA. If July is any indicator of things to come, Carroll may not be able to take that for granted for much longer. Coach Rick Neuheisel and his Bruins are making their presence in the valley known and have been hitting the recruiting circuit hard this summer. UCLA has already had an extremely active July (3 commits) and recently secured...
