Boise State football’s Knockout Kings road tour will continue in 2011 in Oxford, MS.  Boise State and Ole’ Miss have agreed to terms  to bring Boise to Mississippi for a SEC/WAC showdown. The Rebels and Broncos will play on college football’s opening weekend in 2011and Ole Miss will pay BSU $900,000 for their trip down south. Colonel Rebel’s time at Ole Miss has come to an end. In a move to part ways with the old south image that the school has been stricken with, Ole Miss students successfully voted today that their mascot’s days must come to an end. Ole Miss DE Greg Hardy will not suit up this Saturday for the Rebels’s second game of the season against Southeastern Louisiana. Hardy sprained his ankle on September 6th during Ole Miss’s game against Memphis and it is still giving him trouble.  Rebel head coach Houston Nutt announced on Monday,  “I’d say Greg is very doubtful for this game,” Nutt said. “His ankle is still swollen. The AP is reporting that Ole Miss signee Jamar Hornsby is expected to appear in court this Friday where he will be indicted on felony aggravated assault and petit larceny charges. Hornsby was arrested in March of this year for beating up a man after a minor car accident. Hornsby beat the victim with brass knuckles, sending him to the hospital for required treatment.
