Freshman QB Barkley gets historical Nod

From day one, Pete Carroll loved the poise and grace of true freshman QB Matt Barkley. Since Barkley enrolled at SC, he has been battling Aaron Corp for the starting job. From the start, Corp had a leg up and a competitive advantage; however, that did not stop Barkley from continuing to impress the coaching staff and most importantly Carroll. “He has exceeded all our expectations. He has all the physical ability, he has the mentality and temperament to...

Coach Rick Neuheisel and his Bruins are making their presence in the valley known and have been hitting the recruiting circuit hard this summer. UCLA has already had an extremely active July (3 commits) and recently secured...

Trojans land top QB Recruit

It looks like USC lands top rated recruit Jesse Scroggin  from Lakewood, Calif. Under Armour All-American quarterback Scroggin had his pick of schools from Florida to Tennessee; however, he ended up staying close to home as he announced on ESPN his intentions to play for Pete Carroll  and the USC Trojans. Scroggins’ (6-2/189lbs) decision came down to location, family, and friends. Lakewood is a small Los Angeles community near Long Beach and Anaheim. Also, he has friends that play for USC and...

Washington Husky offensive lineman Skyler Fancher got a little more than he paid for last week at a Seattle Chipotle restaurant. The 6’5, 273 lb. Fancher left his 4 barbacoa burritos and sprinted after a teenage thief after he ran off with a woman’s purse at the Tex-Mex fast food chain. Francher and two other men gave chase after the teenager who proved to be pretty quick and agile. The purse snatcher slipped past one of his apprehenders after his tank top ripped sending the good samaritan...
