Greg King and Marlon Walls will join their teammates when Tennessee opens fall practice this Wednesday in Knoxville. King, a linebacker from Memphis, and Walls, a defensive tackle from Olive Branch, Mississippi, were suspended from the team following a bar brawl last month that left an undercover police officer injured. Former LSU safety and Giants’ 3rd round draft pick Chad Jones is undergoing surgery after being involved in a motor vehicle collision earlier this morning in New Orleans. According to police reports, the football and baseball star lost control of his 2010 Range Rover and hit a streetcar pole in New Orleans’ Carrollton Avenue. He broke his left leg and ankle and its been reported that arteries and nerves were exposed which may result in amputation. Jones was charged...

The Florida Citrus Bowl is getting a new look. The Orlando City council voted yesterday to approve dealings with AstroTurf that will bid farewell to grass and hola to turf.
