TE Jermaine Gresham will miss Saturday’s season opener against the 20th rank BYU Cougars according to the Oklahoman. The senior Mackey Award candidate injured his knee this week in practice  but school officials are keeping a tight lid on the severity of the injury. Mendenhall wants Pre-season Polls Abolished

It looks like BYU’s head coach Bronco Mendenhall is fed up with the preseason polls. Mendenhall feels that the Mountain West just doesn’t get any respect when it comes to rankings and bowl selections.
