Alabama to visit the White House for the third time in four years.

Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide will be heading to Washington on Wednesday, March 6, to visit with President Barack Obama to be honored for their 2013 BCS National Championship win over Notre Dame.  This is Alabama’s third trip in four years to meet the president and visit the White House.  In a press release, the White House stated Obama will “continue his tradition of honoring sports teams for their efforts both on and off the field by recognizing the efforts by the Crimson Tide to give back to their community.”

This is Nick Saban’s fourth trip to the White House, three times with Alabama and once with the 2003 LSU national championship team.
